Fence near monastery in Kirova street in Penza to be decorated with images of lost churches

Penza, 4 November 2016. PenzaNews. Images of the Penza churches that did not preserve until now will be placed in niches of the fence, set on Kirova street along the Trinity monastery. The corresponding decision was made during the meeting of the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev with the Metropolitan of Nizhny Lomov and Penza Seraphim.

On Thursday, November 3, the draft project of the fence repair was presented to the Metropolitan.
During the discussion, it was suggested that along with photos of the temples there can be placed information about them. In particular, there was considered an option of creating special QR- codes.
Following the results of the meeting, it was decided to plaster and paint the fence, as well as to repair sidewalks. The work is planned to be started in spring of 2017, the press service of the City Hall reports.
