Together with the deputy director of the city department of housing and communal services Denis Leontyev the mayor visited several streets including Galetnaya and Kooperativnaya streets.

“Two houses were demolished in Kooperativnaya street this year. The work at two more addresses: 2, Remeslennaya street and 1, Kooperativnaya street, will start next year. Afterwards, the land plot will be offered to investors,” Denis Leontyev said.

Since the beginning of 2016, 61 houses were demolished in Penza, including 40 – over the past three months. Currently, the work continues on 28 sites.

According to the deputy director of the housing and communal services department, 17 houses were not yet settled.

Commenting on what he saw, Victor Kuvaytsev noted that the dilapidated housing resettlement program is controlled personally by the governor Ivan Belozertsev.

“Therefore, we should strictly keep the term,” he stressed.

As the press service of the Penza administration reports, the mayor instructed to ensure all the construction debris is removed after the work on the sites is complete.
