Gathered at the regional wall of honor they marched with flags in the rain to the square, where at this time the winter town was being installed.
The rally at the monument to the leader of the world proletariat was held without sound amplifying equipment.
As the first secretary of the city committee of the Communist Party Dmitry Filyaev noted, the Penza communists have been celebrating the anniversary of the revolution for the third day.
“November 7 became the day of liberation of labour, struggle and hope of workers around the world in the struggle of their rights – for free labour, for social guarantees,” he said.
In turn, the leader of the Penza communists, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Russia, deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Georgy Kamnev called November 7 “holiday of all ordinary people.”
“This day in the history of the mankind was marked by the fact people of labour took power in their own hands,” the first secretary of the Penza regional committee of the Communist Party stressed.
In his speech, he urged the party fellows to stand up to those “who continue trying to conquer the October.”
Georgy Kamnev put a special emphasis on the need to resist the imposition of monarchist views.
“We must confidently stand up to aspirations of people to again impose all these monarchist views, we must hold firm in our positions – in freeing people from the oppression of labor capital and lords. Happy holiday to you, dear comrades!” the leader of the Penza communists said.
In the end of the rally, everyone laid red carnations to the monument to Lenin.
