Penza, 15 November 2016. PenzaNews. 54 drivers who did not let pedestrians cross a street were found administratively liable during the “Pedestrian Crossing” preventive event in Penza.

As it was reported by the publicity office of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the event took place on Monday, November 14.

“Administrative liability  in the form of penalty equal to 1,500 rubles is presupposed in situations when a driver doesn’t let a pedestrian cross a street,” the office specified.

The State Traffic Police reminded that drivers must reduce speed before pedestrian crossings, and citizens must be sure that cars let them cross.
