Mayor: Decision on crematorium constuction in Penza has not been taken yet
Penza, 19 November 2016. PenzaNews. The final decision on crematorium construction has not been taken yet. This was announced by Victor Kuvaytsev on Saturday, November 19.

“By experience of other cities, we see that people must be given such a possibility. If someone has a wish, he has the right to use the chance. If we realize the project, then the rights will not be infringed. […] And if we find an investor who will be able to do it […] at the territory allotted for this purpose where the land use allows it, then why not,” he said.
The head of the Penza administration said that the question of cemetery closure, on conditions that crematorium is built, is not considered.
“As any owner, we are trying to bring everything in order. We register property, […] identify its boarders, we grant cadastral registration. The question of a territory liquidation is not considered, moreover, people will not be deprived of the right to do things they have always done,” the mayor explained.
Victor Kuvaytsev added that currently the office is dealing with the issue of ceremonial hall building outside the housing sector.
