Penza, 23 November 2016. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev tested the new bicycle  lane that connects the GPZ-24 and Akhuny areas on Wednesday morning, November 23.

“This project is a great achievement for the city, it is another initiative of the head of the region aimed at the territories improvement, mass sport development in Penza, and healthy lifestyle popularization. It is important that the object is multifunctional, it will be used by pedestrians and healthy lifestyle fans,” Victor Kuvaytsev said after the ride.

According to him, the bicycle lane will make it possible to get from the “Vostok” stadium  in Antonova street to the bicycle, skiing and roller-skating sports track in Akhuny, safe and without problems.

Victor Kuvaytsev ordered to eliminate all discovered defects connected with the main road junction as well as with the places of getting on and off the lane, within 2-3 days.

In addition, it is planned to exclude the possibility of running into passengers waiting for the public transport at bus stops, the press service of the Penza mayor’s office reports.
