The vice-president of the chamber of commerce and industry Maxim Fateev presented the edition that was published in 1,000 copies, and said that it will be impossible to find it for sale. He expressed his confidence that the books will help a reader to know Yevgeny Primakov better as a politician and as a person.

Maxim Fateev also recollected his first meeting with the head of the chamber of commerce and industry when he was invited for an interview on April 2, 2003.

“Imagine what I felt: I was slightly more than 30 – a kind of provincial man with a certain destiny, with some achievements in business and regional government. I came to the study of a person who was legendary to many of us. […] One minute before the meeting, I received an SMS that my wife was giving birth to our first child. And at that moment Yevgeny Maximovich appeared,” the head of the chamber of commerce and industry said.

He added that the meeting lasted about half an hour and at the end of it Yevgeny Primakov asked why his interlocutor was so excited.

“And he, just like a regular Russian man, said what he thought about the situation – why I came if I had such an event. And then I asked: ‘How could I possibly not come to Primakov?’ ” Maxim Fateev noted.

According to him, Yevgeny Primakov provided him with a car so that he could reach the railway station faster.

“At that moment I thought that it was probably worth remaining in this system if such people work here,” he said.

Maxim Fateev informed that the 10-volume edition will be presented to limited number of people – authorities, scientific libraries and eminent institutions of higher education.

In Penza, the edition was presented to the governor Ivan Belozertsev, the rector of the Penza State University Alexander Gulyakov and the director of regional Lermontov library Marina Osipova.
