Editor of Penza magazine “Dostupny Mir” to conduct interview with Secretary General of Council of Europe

Penza, 28 November 2016. PenzaNews. The editor in chief of the Penza magazine “Dostupny Mir” Dmitry Vaskov went to Strasbourg to conduct an interview with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland.

“The plane is flying to Strasbourg. From there, the Council of Europe already booked a special car for wheelchair users transportation,” Dmitry Vaskov told PenzaNews specifying that he is planning to arrive to the destination on Wednesday, November 30.
He added that during the whole business trip, in his spare time, he is going to assess the availability of the environment created for disabled people abroad.
“On December 1, we will visit a school in Germany – Strasbourg is located a few miles away of the boarder. This school has inclusive type of education; it means that education is available there for both healthy and disabled children,” the interlocutor explained.
Dmitry Vaskov added that on the same day, at 14.00, local time, he will conduct an interview with Thorbjørn Jagland that will be broadcasted on the channel “TV-Penza” at 16.00, Moscow time.
“Initially, we planned only the interview. But as December 3 is the international day of persons with disabilities, we decided to unite the interview with invention of different stories and with the theme report-presentation on what is going on in Russia in the field of protection of disabled persons rights and freedoms,” the editor in chief of the magazine “Dostupnaya Sreda” said.
According to him, on the next day, they plan to hold several meetings in the Council of Europe, and during one of them he will speak about availability of different spheres of life for disabled people.
Thus, according to Dmitry Vaskov, the issues of transportation infrastructure, education and health care availability will be touched upon.
