Penza, 28 November 2016. PenzaNews. The month’s campaign against illegal turnover of alcohol containing products will take place from December 5 till January 5 in the Penza region. This was reported by the governor Ivan Belozertsev during the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, November 28.

The head of the region explained that the decision to conduct the event was taken in connection with mass poisoning in Kuznetsk where five people died after a celebration in the “Nora” bar.

“Health of other people is a matter of concern, though doctors do all what is possible to cure them,” Ivan Belozertsev noted.

He added that the importance of such month’s action is doubtless because before the New Year and Christmas holidays the demand for alcohol will increase.

The governor asked to pay special attention to alcohol trade via the Internet.

In addition, he ordered to conduct a meeting-seminar on the issue of products turnover control until December 10.
