“Rossiya” names plane after Penza

Penza, 30 November 2016. PenzaNews. “Rossiya” airline named the plane Boeing 737-800, hull No “VQ-BUE”, “Penza”.

The plane’s fuselage was decorated with the city’s coat of arms that represents a green heraldic shield with the picture of three golden sheaves: wheat, barley and millet.
“Penza” plane became the 15th Boeing 737 in the carrier’s park. It is aimed for 189 economy class passengers. The liner made its maiden flight on the route “Moscow-Orenburg”.
As the press service of the “Rossiya” airline informs, at present, the carrier’s park also has planes named “Moskva”, “Volgograd”, “Vladivostok”, “Grozny”, “Kazan”, “Orenburg”, “Rostov-na-Donu”, “Smolensk”, “Izhevsk”, “Nizhniy Novgorog”, “Sochi”, “Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky”, “Yekaterinburg”, “Khabarovsk”, “Magadan”, “Novosibirsk”, “Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk”, and “Sankt-Peterburg”.
