Penza, 30 November 2016. PenzaNews. Decoration of the tree with artificial fir tree branches, garland lights and balls was finished on the Fontannaya square in Penza.

“On Wednesday, November 30, it will be additionally decorated with light emitting snowflakes. And around it, we plan to install a decorative fence,” the press service of the Penza mayor’s office told PenzaNews.

The city administration reminded that the tree’s height is 25 metres and diameter of the foundation – 5 metres.

In addition, on Tuesday, November 29, we started to install a decoration in the shape of the number “2017” on Yubileynaya square. The maximum height of the arch that represents zero is about 4 metres.

Besides, the decoration of the monument “Globus” as a New Year ball was not finished yet – a special carcass was installed around the monument which will be covered with light emitting threads and topped with a special “ring-shaped detail” that is usually used to put balls on a New Year tree.
