Penza, 5 December 2016. PenzaNews. The award ceremony of the volunteers, who were the most active during the year, took place in the cinema complex “Sovremennik” on the International volunteer day, December 5, in Penza.

Participants of forums and such projects as “Volunteers of victory” and “The Russian search movement” received diplomas and souvenirs from the regional Ministry of Education and the house of youth. 70 people were awarded altogether.

After the ceremony, the organizers showed the film “28 Panfilov soldiers”.

As the head of the youth initiatives implementation center for the Penza region youth center Marina Sivyakova told PenzaNews, this film was shown on purpose.

“It is patriotic. The film has a kind and merciful character. The audience should be aware or their ancestors’ feats, and in the future they should accomplish feats of their own,” the interlocutor noted.
