Penza, 5 December 2016. PenzaNews. More than 75% of Penza region residents are going to celebrate New Year at home. This became known thanks to the poll conducted on the PenzaNews website from November 21 to December 4, 2016. 357 Internet users, including 278 – from Penza and the Penza region, took part in it.

More than 8% of the respondents reported that as the clock strikes twelve they will be at their friends’, and almost 7% – at their relatives’.

A bit more than 2% of the respondents answered that they will celebrate the 2017 New Year outside, the same number of people chose the option “Other”.

About 1% of the respondents will spend the New Year night at a restaurant.

4% of the online poll participants remained undecided.

According to the ancient eastern calendar that is known as the Chinese zodiac, the 2017 year will be the year of the Red or Fire Rooster.
