Federal Security Service warns Penza residents about bank system crisis provocation

Penza, 6 December 2016. PenzaNews. Massive cyberattacks aimed to destabilize Russian financial system, including the activity of the biggest banks, is planned by foreign special services. This was reported by the press service of the regional department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.

“As the result of the operational investigative measures, it was discovered that server facilities and control centres that were planned to be used for the cyberattacks are located in Netherlands and belong to the Ukrainian hosting company BlazingFast. The cyberattack is planned to be supplemented by mass phone messages and publications in social networks of provocative nature about the crisis of the Russian credit and financial system, bankruptcy and recall of the license from a number of leading banks of federal and regional importance. The action is aimed at dozens of Russian cities,” the office explained.

The press service emphasized that the Federal Security Service takes all necessary measures to neutralize the threat to the economic and informational security and to document the action that is prepared.
