Penza, 8 December 2016. PenzaNews. Prosecution authorities of the Penza region registered almost 2,000 violations of traffic safety during 10 months of the 2016 year. This was reported by the regional prosecutor Natalia Kantserova during the multiregional seminar of prosecution workers “Topical questions of law enforcement practice and procuracy supervision practice in the field of traffic activity” on Thursday, December 8.

“During 10 months of the present year, more than 1,800 violations of the traffic safety rules were registered. In order to remove them, people brought 150 protests and 439 reports, and gave notice of 227 claims. 225 people were subjected to disciplinary and administrative liability,” she said.

Natalia Kantserova noted that the region has the effective system of procuracy supervision, which is aimed, first and foremost, at reaching legitimacy in the field of road construction.
