Penza, 10 December 2016. PenzaNews. Preliminary work results of the 2016 year were summed up at the meeting between the representatives of the Penza administration, which was held in the centre of culture and leisure on Saturday, December 10.

The main issues touched upon the systematic development of the Zarya area, the extensive repairs of the Sverdlovsky bridge, the reconstruction of the Sura river embankment and Antonova street, the improvement of Olimpiyskaya alley, the road repairs, the heating season, the construction of schools and kindergartens.

Turning to those present, the head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev emphasized that great work was made in all the spheres.

According to him, despite different difficulties and disruption of some works deadlines, the city changed greatly and became even more attractive during the year.

“Together we laid the foundation of new projects realization, which in future will make our residents glad. All this became possible thanks to the unity, your professionalism, smart and reliable approach to work,” the mayor said.

Victor Kuvaytsev also drew the colleague’s attention to the Human rights day, which is celebrated on Saturday, December 10.

“Let us perform our official duties even more thoroughly and treat the residents’ issues carefully, especially the issues of those people whose rights or interests are infringed. Elderly people, who stood at the origins of the formation of good city traditions, its appearance and development, require special treatment,” the press service of the mayor’s office quotes the head of the Penza administration.
