Penza, 10 December 2016. PenzaNews. More than 900 violations of anti-corruption laws were discovered in the Penza region since the beginning of the 2016 year.

“More than 225 protests were brought, 7 applications were submitted to the court, more than 265 reports were written, after which 240 persons were found disciplinary liable including two municipal service workers who were fired due to the loss of trust. 36 persons were found administratively liable, 5 officials were warned about inadmissibility of law violation. 18 criminal cases on corruption were opened following the prosecutor’s investigation,” the senior assistant of the head of the regional prosecutor for media relations Svetlana Artamonova told PenzaNews.
She specified that the prosecutor’s investigations discovered 15 cases of state and municipal workers personal interest.
“4 organizations were found administratively liable for offering, promising and giving illegal gratification to legal persons and the penalty of 3 million rubles was imposed on them. At present, 1,661,000 rubles were exacted,” the interlocutor added.
