Penza, 19 December 2016. PenzaNews. Haw extract as well as all similar products will be confiscated from Penza municipal pharmacies. Such order was given by the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev to his deputy Vladimir Popkov on Monday, December 19.

“It is necessary to confiscate all products similar to haw extract from municipal pharmacies until we find out the name of the manufacturer and deliverer, and the results of the examination that should define the safety of this remedy,” he said.

As it was reported by the mayor’s office press service, on Tuesday, December 20, it is planned to conduct the inspection, in which workers of the organizations in charge of this goods segment, deputies, representatives of the city administration and public organizations will take part.

Earlier, a case of mass poisoning with alcohol containing liquid was registered in Irkutsk. According to the preliminary data, the incident was caused by the bath concentrate “Boyaryshnik”, which had a warning sticker that forbids internal use.

A criminal case was opened on the incident.

According to the latest information, more than 30 people died of acute poisoning in Irkutsk.
