Earlier, the walls and the floor coating were dismantled here. Now the walls are covered with new tiles and the floor is laid with asphalt.
The stairs have ramps and railings.
The lamps were removed from the ceiling to the walls.
As it was reported earlier, the underground passage repairs, which began on October 5, were conducted within the framework of the railway station complex Penza-I modernization, which has been lasting since 2013.
During this time, workers completely renewed the appearance of the railway station and the hotel building, created the barrier-free environment for people with limited mobility, removed communication lines that were located inside the pedestrian tunnel.
All the works were conducted at the expense of JFC “RZD”.
