The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev promised to take all the necessary measures in order to prevent any damage to the sacred spring Sem Klyuchei as well as to the surrounding territories in case the pig-breeding farm is built by a Chinese investor in Shemysheysky area.

“I will not let the construction of the pig-breeding farm in Shemysheysky area or in another one damage the ecology. We will not let it happen,” he said at the press conference on Monday, December 26.

“The fears of the people for the sacred spring are not grounded,” the head of the region added.

According to Ivan Belozertsev, at present it is too early to speak about the construction of the pig-breeding farm in the Shemysheysky area – the project is at the discussion stage.
