Penza, 9 January 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev suggested punishing the workers who go to work being ill.

According to him, such workers think that it is impossible to manage job well without them and that the manager should value this “feat”, but as the result, sick people infect their colleagues and it leads to great medical costs.

“We should deprive them of quarterly and annual bonuses,” Ivan Belozertsev said at the action meeting in the regional government on Monday, January 9.

He ordered representatives of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Labour of the Penza region to share this idea with employers.
