Penza, 17 January 2017. PenzaNews. Workers of the hunting department of the Ministry of Forestry of the Penza region registered five law violations, including the facts of illegal wild boar and roe deer hunting, on the weekend January 14-15.

As it was reported by the press service of the department, the wild boar was killed by three citizens of the Penza region in the Pachelmsky area.

"An administrative protocol was drawn up on this fact under Part 1, Art. 8.37 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation 'Violation of hunting rules, and of the rules that regulate fishing and other types of the wildlife objects use'. The accused will have to pay a penalty of up to 4,000 rubles and a compensation for the illegal hunting male wild boar – 45,000 rubles," the Ministry of Forestry explained.

The press service added that the doe was hunted illegally with the use of snowmobiles in the closed for hunting period.

"The materials required for starting a criminal case on this fact were sent to the police office of the Kolyshleysky area. The damage caused to the state is 100,000 rubles. Such law violation leads to criminal liability under Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation 'Illegal hunting'," the department said.
