Student team that covers almost 80 km returns from agitation hiking trip to Penza

Penza, 20 January 2017. PenzaNews. The student team of Penza Social and Pedagogical College returned from the 16th winter agitation hiking trip that lasted from 13 to 19 January, during which 26 young people covered 76 km around the territory of six villages of two areas – the Pachalmsky and Nizhnelomovky ones.

First, the participants reached the station "Varezhka" by an electric train and after that they traveled by ski.
Their route passed through Titovo, Michkasskie Vyselki, Mokry Michkas, Verkhny Lomov, Novaya Tolkovka, and Pachelma.
In the first half of the day in each settlement, the students had lessons devoted to environmental issues. In particular, the senior pupils were offered a logical game aimed at demonstrating by a concrete example how the ecological balance principle functions.
In the evenings, the participants of the agitation hiking trip performed concerts and sports activities in front of local residents.
Much time of the performances was devoted to informing village residents on the work of the Russian school pupils movement.
At the same time, in Verkhny Lomov, the school of which joined the movement in autumn 2016, children and teachers shared first results of their activity.
Within the framework of the hiking trip, the participants also held joint actions with the movement "EKA" aimed at environmental education of the younger generation. The pupils received brochures and souvenirs, which include recommendations on tree planting.
