Penza, 21 January 2017. PenzaNews. During the operative-preventive action carried out in the roads of Penza on Friday, January 20, traffic police officers registered 55 drivers, who did not yield to pedestrians.

"Failure to yield to pedestrians leads to administrative liability in the form of penalty equal to 1,500 rubles," the propaganda department of the traffic police of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reminded.

The department noted that the aim of the event "Pedestrian Crossing" is to improve the culture of all road users.
