Day of Russian Student Teams celebrated in Penza for second time

Penza, 18 February 2017. PenzaNews. Celebrations timed to the Day of Russian Student Teams were held in the Yanichkin children’s art school on Friday, February 17.
Within the framework of the event, activists organized a dance flash mob, a concert, a presentation of the Student Teams movement "Today we build tomorrow on the Earth!", and a round-table discussion for active members of Russian student teams on the issues of teams’ activities.

The young people also took part in a singsong performing student teams’ famous songs.
The concert began with the appearance of flag-carriers, who were greeted with thunderous applause of student teams’ members.
Turning to those present, the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Yana Kuprina drew attention to a relatively law air temperature in the hall.
"First, I thought the students are going to freeze. But when I took a look at your uniform, [...] when I saw how warmly you greeted the flags of your teams, I understood that the people who are present here at the moment, [...] experienced a lot in their lives, and are looking forward to even more things to happen. You have hot hearts and love your native land, the Penza region, and our great country," she said.
In turn, the minister of education of the Pena region Alexander Voronkov emphasized the fact that the work of student teams is one of the special areas of the youth policy.
"Of course, the time you spend here will be useful for you. Today, talking to the most experienced participants of the students’ movement you probably understood that the qualities we take pride in are being formed in you nowadays," the head of the regional Ministry of Education noted.
The concert also featured awarding of the most active representatives of the Russian Student Teams movement. The photojournalist of the news agency PenzaNews, the member of the board of the Penza regional department of Russian Student Teams Maxim Kostyushin was one of the prizewinners. He received a letter of gratitude from the head of the Penza administration Victor Kuvaytsev.
After the official part, student teams gave a performance. In addition, representatives of pilot schools of the Russian School Pupils movement came on the stage.
The concert was finished by the song "We are the best movement of the country" written by fighters of Penza student teams.
