Penza, 21 February 2017. PenzaNews. About 50 Penza residents took part in the blood donation campaign dedicated to the Day of Russian Student Teams and held in the House of Youth on Tuesday, February 21.

"We try to conduct such campaign every three months. This time the action united representatives of the leading student teams, residents of the city, and students," Artem Kolobov, head of the regional branch of Russian Student Teams, told PenzaNews.

He noted that members of the teams "Kolorit", "Vertikal", "Spektr", "Maximum", "Sozvezdie", "Fenix", and the newly created team "Sirius" came to the blood donation station.

"Simultaneously with this campaign we collected money for charity. As a result, we managed to collect about 3,500 rubles. Many donors contributed the money they received as a compensation for blood donation. The money will be directed to one of children's funds to be used for treatment. In the nearest time, we will decide which fund the money will be sent to," the interlocutor added.
