Penza, 26 February 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev is dissatisfied with the state of the underground passage next to the railway station Penza-I, which was opened after repairs on December 21, 2016.

During the morning inspection of the city on Sunday, February 26, Victor Kuvaytsev drew attention to the fact that the asphalt covering of the passage started to crumble. He was also displeased with defects in the drainage system, accumulation of rubbish next to the entrance and unauthorized advertisements at the fence from the side of the bus station.

He ordered the vice mayor Andrei Shevchenko and the head of the Zheleznodorozhny area administration Oleg Denisov to organize a meeting with the governing bodies of the railway station and the Kuybyshev railroad - the JSC "RZD" branch - in order to recommend conducting works on elimination of the defects and to set a deadline for their completion.

"It is necessary to start works on the elimination of leakage in the ceiling and registered defects of the asphalt covering, as well as to improve the entrance to the underground passage from the side of the bus station," the head of the administration said.
Victor Kuvaytsev also ordered to tidy up the adjoining territories and to keep them clean all the time, the press service of the mayor's office reports.
