“Civil Union” foundation asks about making donation on day of its 15th anniversary

Penza, 27 February 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza regional community foundation “Civil Union”, which celebrates its 15th birthday on Monday, February 27, suggested that all indifferent people make a present to the organization transferring a donation for the replenishment of the endowment.

"We will not have a celebration today, but you can easily congratulate us by transferring some money to the endowment. The money collected from thousands of different sources will work for many years bringing benefits to all residents of the region. This will be the best congratulation for us," the post on the “Civil Union” foundation Facebook profile states.

The post also notices that the foundation helps hospitals, elderly people, newly created non-profit organizations, as well as city communities and activists.

"We encourage people to do good deeds, tell the world about good people and organizations, collect money, fight with fraudsters in the field of charity, and direct the funds collected with great effort to the implementation of the goals that are the most urgent in the city and in the region," the text states.

The foundation "Civil Union" was formed on February 27, 2002, and registered in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The form of incorporation is public fund.

The foundation works according to the world recognized "community foundation" method as the fund of a local community.

It is one of the founders of the Partnership of local communities foundations in Russia and CIS countries.

The foundation "Civil Union" includes the following programmes: "Spring of hope", "Children of War", "Greenhouse of social technologies", Technology for the benefit", and others.
