"During a customs control of an international mail sent from Saudi Arabia to Russia, workers discovered and confiscated three books in Russian that are included in the federal list of materials considered extremist by the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation," the press service of the Saratov customs office told PenzaNews.
The department added that the books that are included in this list are a means of rising hatred and enmity between people on grounds of their attitude to religion, contribute to change of people's behaviour in society and increase aggression towards other religions.
"The Saratov customs office opened an administrative case on this fact under the Art. 16.3 of the Administrative Offences Code of the Russian Federation "Infringement of prohibitions and restrictions on importing goods to the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union or Russian Federation and export of goods from the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union or Russian Federation," the press service added.
