Zarechny, 4 March 2017. PenzaNews. 65 citizens of Zarechny took part in the blood donation campaign "Drop of Kindness" aimed at providing help to children who undergo medical treatment in the regional oncology dispensary clinic.

On Friday, March 3, people who already took part in similar actions and those who never did so gathered in the square next to the culture centre "Sovremennik".

In a couple of hours, medical workers collected nearly 30 litres of blood.

At the same time, people collected money for treatment of two children with cancer. For this purpose, a special box for donations was installed next to mobile medical posts. By the end of the donation campaign, there were 10,000 rubles in the box.

It is planned that the next similar action will be held in June, the department of public relations of Zarechny reports.
