Ten representatives of mass media, including the photo correspondent of the news agency PenzaNews Maxim Kostyushin, had a chance to take a closer look at work of the department.
The journalists could see equipment, armament as well as technical and engineering tools that are used by fighters of Special Police Force. In addition, workers of the department described a detention procedure from setting objectives to implementing them.
After that, everyone could try their hand at target shooting at the shooting range of the department.
Then, fighters performed a special show demonstrating their skills of dealing with protective shields. They were forming different figures and telling the journalist in what situation each of them is used.
As it was noted by the head of the regional department of Special Police Force Nikolai Rukavishnikov, in order to become a fighter of the service one should have outstanding features.
"These are first of all moral, psychological and physical qualities. And the most important quality is to be healthy," he emphasized.
Nikolai Rukavishnikov expressed his hope that the situation in the region will remain calm and that services of Special Police Force fighters will be used very seldom.
Commenting on the event, the photo correspondent of the news agency PenzaNews Maxim Kostyushin expressed his gratitude to the management of the federal national guard troops service for the opportunity to become a Special Police Force fighter.
"Normally, we learn about work of such departments only from the news and today we could get a first-hand experience. Fighters are definitely well-prepared. It was very interesting to learn about armament of the department. We had a chance to hold arms, to try hitting the target as well as to ask all our questions. I wish we had more such meetings," he said.
At the end of the event, all participants were presented with magnets bearing the symbol of the federal national guard troops.
