Apart from parents, the exposition was attended by the authorities – the vice governor Valery Savin, the Deputy Chairman of the Penza region government Valery Bespalov, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and the head of the city Valery Savelyev.
They talked to members of the cluster and asked them about their production and prices.
The products represented at the show are affordable. Thus, one could see a kid's light overcoat costing 2,200 rubles and coats for less than 2,000 rubles.
Sundresses made in Penza are sold for about 1,800 rubles. For example, for this money it is possible to buy any model of the producer "Alex-M" regardless of the size and the material. The same brand represented skirts selling them for 1,000 rubles and jackets – for 1,900 rubles. Coats for boys are sold for 2,900 rubles.
According to manufacturers, making clothes for children they use different materials but they always take into account the conditions in which the clothes will be used.
For example, the individual entrepreneur Olga Prokopyeva explained that she buys fabrics for school uniform production in Belarus, where materials are of high quality.
"Uniform must conform to certain standards because children wear it during the whole day. It means that fabrics must let air circulate freely. There should not be more than 35% of polyester in the materials used for uniform production, other components should be either wool for tighter and warmer clothes or viscose – for soft and light clothes," she explained a PenzaNews correspondent.
Having visited the exposition organized with the assistance of the Center of Cluster Development, participants of the event moved to an auditorium, where members of Olga Bukina's fashion theatre demonstrated clothes models for school pupils of different age.
In particular, the fashion show featured clothes made by "Alex-M", "Simfonia stilya", "Creative", "Fifland", "Ilves", and "Grow". The shoes, worn by young models, were created in the tailoring shop "Alfa".
When the youngest participants of the fashion show (children aged 4-5) appeared on the stage, the women who constituted most part of the audience could not suppress their tender emotions.
When the fashion show was over, Valery Savin turned to parents and teachers expressing his opinion that education is also ensured by children's appearance.
The vice governor noted that Penza school uniform lets school pupils look decent.
"Attending the exhibition today we understood that these products are in high demand in the Penza and Penza region markets as well as outside our region," he said specifying that about 70% of the products are sold in other regions of the Russian Federation.
"It means that professionals work in our region," Valery Savin emphasized.
After that, the parents meeting that was opened by the head of the city education department Yuri Golodyaev began. He made everyone acquainted with the main areas of work aimed at identifying and supporting talented children.
