Penza, 18 March 2017. PenzaNews. Over 5,000 people took part in the rally-concert "Russia and Crimea. Together forever!", which was held in Penza on Saturday, March 18.

Representatives of political parties, youth and public organizations, workers of enterprises and establishments, students and veterans gathered near the building of the Penza region government in Lenina square.

They held posters with slogans "Brotherhood and unity!", "Crimea is Russia!", "Together forever", "I am proud of the country" and others.

Turning to participants of the rally, Sergei Tsigvintsev, chairman of the regional branch for the Russian Civil Organization for Veterans of War, emphasized that citizens are proud of the fact that the Crimea joined Russia.

"Russians – residents of the Crimea – returned to their historic motherland with exultation and joy. The two words that warm our soul and heart are 'Crimea is ours!'," he said.

After an official part, there was held a concert during which Penza vocal and dancing clubs performed their best numbers, the press service of the regional government informs.
