Penza, 24 March 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza region has a good tourism development potential. Such opinion was expressed by the deputy chief of the regional government Oleg Yagov.

"We have no oil, no natural gas, no diamonds, but what we do have is a very good base for tourism development," he said during a meeting of the press club devoted to the issue of the Penza region tourism attractiveness improvement, which was held at the premises of the high technology park “Rameev” on Friday, March 24.

He expressed confidence that this area can be developed only with the assistance of interested people.

"We have only one problem – we do not know how to present ourselves," the deputy chief of the regional government noted.

Oleg Yagov suggested thinking about possible ways of how to attract tourists to the region through the Internet, with the help of YouTube videos, for example.
