Penza, 28 March 2017. PenzaNews. The citation index of the independent news agency PenzaNews prepared by the search system Yandex increased by 100 points – to 1900 points – after the company updated information at the end of the last week.

The authoritative Internet resource, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, occupies the first position in the Penza mass media rating remaining, as before, the leader according to the Yandex company.

The website PenzaInform, which is not officially registered and is associated with the TV and Radio Company “Nash Dom”, occupies the second position with 1,700 points.

The agency Penza-Press, which belongs to the media holding “Express” controlled by the regional government, still remains at the third place, though its rating increased to 1,600 point since the last update.

Other news resources of Penza that are represented in Yandex.Catalog in the section "News agencies" have at present relatively low citation indexes compared to the top three group – from 230 to 1000 points.
