Penza, 1 April 2017. PenzaNews. The Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev considered several options for possible location of the monument to mother on Saturday, April 1.

Together with his deputy Irina Shirshina, the head of the city Department of Architecture and Urban Planning Magomed Agamagomedov, and the chief artist of the city he visited the Yubileynaya square, the territory near the maternity hospital in Pushkina street, and the public garden in Slavy street.

"The monument should have its own conception, a legend, it should look grand. Mother is the dearest, the most sacred, and the nearest to our hearts person, that is why it would be great to have a place in the city where we would be able to bow before her," Victor Kuvaytsev said.

As the press service of the mayor's office told PenzaNews, Penza residents can send their suggestions regarding the place of the monument location to the e-mail indicated on the website of the city administration.

"According to preliminary data, works on the monument creation are divided in two stages: the first presupposes selection of the best ideas and the second – elaboration of the final variant with consideration of the chosen location," the press service added.
