In Penza governor, mayor and head of city pay tribute to victims of terrorist attack in metro

Penza, 4 April 2017. PenzaNews. The governor Ivan Belozertsev, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev and the head of the city Valery Savelyev paid tribute to victims of the explosion that recently occurred in Saint-Petersburg metro, next to the monument "To the Heroes of Besieged Leningrad" on Tuesday, April 4.

They arrived to the monument located at the intersection of Leningradskaya and Mira streets at noon. By this time, there were candles there brought by Penza residents who empathize with Saint-Petersburg citizens.

Ivan Belozertsev was the first to lay flowers – red roses – to the monument. Then, Victor Kuvaytsev and Valery Savelyev did the same – they were holding carnations in their hands.

After that, the memory of the victims was commemorated by representatives of the mayor's office, Penza area administrations, as well as Penza City Duma deputies.
