Over 100 people gather in Penza to commemorate victims of terrorist attack in metro
Penza, 5 April 2017. PenzaNews. Over 100 people gathered at a memorial event in the square near the House of Youth in Penza on Tuesday evening, April 4, in order to commemorate victims of the explosion in Saint Petersburg metro.

The vast majority of people were representatives of the youth.
The right to speak was given to everyone. The people expressed sympathy to everyone who was affected by the tragedy.
During the action, young people were holding candles. Some of the participants also brought flowers and toys and left them at a pedestal. Near the pedestal, there was a table with the inscription "Saint Petersburg 03.04.2017" and photographs.
One of the speakers suggested that the terrorist attack was directed at young people who were returning from schools and universities at that time.
Representatives of the older generation thanked the young people who gathered in Penza that evening for their coming and commemorating the victims of the attack. Participants of the action also urged to report suspicious objects to the police because such vigilance may save dozens of people.
In conclusion, the people paid tribute to the victims of the attack by a minute of silence.
When the event finished, 14 lamps that remained on a pedestal during the mourning, were transported from the House of Youth to the monument "To the Heroes of Besieged Leningrad".
