Head of city and mayor clean future public garden "Immortal regiment" in Penza
Penza, 8 April 2017. PenzaNews. The head of Penza Valery Savelyev and the mayor Victor Kuvaytsev took part in the community work day in the territory of the future public garden "Immortal regiment" in Karpinskogo street on Saturday morning, April 8.
The event was also attended by the first vice-mayor Sergei Volkov, the deputy heads of the city administration Andrei Shevchenko, Irina Shirshina, and Yuri Ilyin, the head of the Communal Affairs Department Andrei Grishin and the deputy chairman of the City Duma Georgy Tyurin.
In addition, the territory of the future public garden was cleaned by workers of the municipal unitary enterprise Zelenoye khozyaystvo and residents of Penza.
Before the action, Victor Kuvaytsev and the main artist of the city Sergei Petrov discussed the plan of works on the public garden organization. Thus, during the constructive conversation they outlined approximate borders of the public garden and discussed the possibility of laying tile on the paths.
"The public garden 'Immortal regiment', which will become the symbol of the residents' patriotism, will reflect the history of the movement. Thus, people will have a chance to commemorate their fathers, grandfathers not only on Victory Day but on other days as well," the press service of the mayor's office quotes Victor Kuvaytsev.
