"In 2015, we transported 38,762,250 passengers," he said during the meeting of the permanent City Duma commission on social and economic development, industry, transportation, communications and entrepreneurship that was held on Wednesday, April 12.

Maxim Ivankin stressed that in 2016 the passenger flow stabilized and increased by 0.3%.

"At present, the route network of city public transport includes 65 municipal routes: 7 trolleybus routes, 6 high-capacity bus routes and 52 fixed-run taxi routes," the head of the department specified.

He added that the maximum of 131 large-sized buses, 65 trolleybuses and about 900 small-sized buses worked were involved in transportation.
