Penza, 16 April 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev congratulated residents of the region on the Holy Resurrection – on Easter.

"This solemn day has always been widely celebrated in Russia. It embodies spiritual renewal, fills people's hearts with mercy, gives love and hope. Today, the Russian Orthodox Church contributes to consolidation of moral norms, compassion and honesty by its righteous laborious acts aimed at strengthening high moral ideals and family values," the head of the region noted.

He expressed hope that through joint efforts people will be able to do everything in order to establish peace, mutual understanding and consent.

"I sincerely wish you good health, spiritual joy, prosperity, happiness, fulfillment of all good undertakings," the press service of the Penza region government quotes Ivan Belozertsev.
