Monument “Pervoposelenets” cleaned in Penza

Penza, 18 April 2017. PenzaNews. Representatives of the children's art school "Kvinta", children's musical school No. 4 as well as city residents cleaned the monument “Pervoposelenets” – a sculpture consisting of a man and his horse – from dust and dirt. The monument is known as one of the most popular attractions in Penza.

The action was timed to the International Day of Monuments and Sites, which was celebrated on Tuesday, April 18.
Participants of the action also removed garbage from the view point near the monument.
"We have a special, tender, attitude to monuments in Penza. It is very good that there are a lot of them in our city," the director of the children's art school of "Kvinta" Marina Safronova told PenzaNews.
She noted that the action gives everyone an opportunity to make the hometown cleaner and more attractive.
