Penza residents woke up on Wednesday morning and saw the picture that is uncommon for spring – the lawns, which already turned green, were cowered with snow. Many people immediately started taking photos of the "winter" landscape on mobile phone cameras sharing them on social networks.

Bad weather created inconveniences for both drivers and pedestrians.

Drivers, who already changed from winter to summer tyres, were had to make a decision whether to use a private car or to go by public transport. Most of them opted for the latter.

Those who decided to go by car had to clean it from a thick layer of snow first.

Drivers try to be attentive and avoid potentially dangerous moments on the roads. Even though the communal services process roads with chemicals since the early morning, and there is no ice on the road surface, everyone realizes that attention and caution are the key to safety and accident-free driving.

There is some snow on pavements, which did not melt yet. At the same time, the number of puddles increases.

As it was reported earlier, on Monday, April 17, it was planned to make changes in the heating system and to turn to the summer mode. However, due to the forecasted worsening of weather conditions, the end of the heating season was postponed for a week.
