Penza, 23 April 2017. PenzaNews. The governor of the Penza region Ivan Belozertsev thinks that it is necessary to conduct more events for the young population in the region. Students and promising specialists can make suggestions on the region development and propose long-term projects.

"We must have more grounds where the youth could meet up, propose their projects, make suggestions. They may be different, but it is necessary that the youth expresses these ideas and defends them," the head of the region said at the meeting with participants of the 2nd regional youth forum "Lastochka" in the “Berezovaya Roscha” health resort near Penza on Saturday, April 22.

Ivan Belozertsev reported that the regional budget for 2017 includes 2.5 million rubles for support of youth initiatives and different events exclusive the costs provided by the relevant programme.

"Perhaps, this amount of money is not much but it is just the first step," the governor added.

The head of the region noted that fresh perspective on many things and unconventional approach to solving unusual tasks feature young population, that is why it requires support.
