Penza authorities visit grave of ex-governor Vasily Bochkarev

Penza, 29 April 2017. PenzaNews. The officials visited the grave of the former governor, ex-member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Vasily Bochkarev in the Novo-Zapadnoe cemetery in Penza on his 68th birth anniversary on April 29.

Among those who came to pay tribute to the Russian state, political and public figure were the assistant Presidential envoy in the Volga Federal District Oleg Melnichenko, the chief federal expert Dmitry Kadenkov, the governor Ivan Belozertsev, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Penza region Valery Lidin, the Penza mayor Victor Kuvaytsev, and the head of the city Valery Savelyev.
"We visited the grave of Vasily Kuzmich Bochkarev, he has a birthday today. Having become the governor, I have understood how difficult it was for him," Ivan Belozertsev wrote on Twitter after he visited the cemetery.
As it was reported earlier, Vasily Bochkarev died after a long illness on June 22, 2016. He was buried in Slavy street in the Novo-Zapadnoe cemetery.
