Penza, 3 May 2017. PenzaNews. Penza officials donated 18 litres of blood within a donation campaign that was held in Lenina square on Wednesday, May 3.

40 people took part in the action including workers of regional departments - the Ministry of Industry, the department of information and communications management, the Ministry of Labour and the Registry Office.

According to the chief medical officer of the clinical blood centre Tatyana Krylova, thanks to such campaigns, people who require transfusional assistance are fully provided with haemocomponents.

"Health of each of us is not only a personal possession but also a gift that can be shared with those who need it by means of voluntary blood donation," the press service of the regional Ministry of Health quotes the chief medical officer.
