Penza, 3 May 2017. PenzaNews. The mayor Victor Kuvaytsev suggested establishing a public garden dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Penza football.

"At present, after old and dilapidated houses were demolished, we have vacant territory between the station Penza-I and Suvorovastreet. In general, the territory is well-arranged, and after some improvements we will get a nice green zone in the city centre. I suggest dedicating the public garden to the 100th anniversary of Penza football," he said during the operational meeting in the mayor's office that was held on Tuesday, May 2.

According to the mayor, football fans and devoteeswould take care of the public garden and maintain order and cleanness in it.

In this regard, Victor Kuvaytsev ordered specialist of the departments of urban planning and architecture and municipal property to check whether the area is free from rights of third parties and to develop a plan of the improvement of the public garden and adjacent territory.

The mayor also ordered to return to the project of the development of the public garden dedicated to the 40th anniversary of victory located in Arbekovo area, which was not finished last year due to the lack of funds, the press service of the Penza administration informs.
