Penza, 6 May 2017. PenzaNews. The mayor Victor Kuvaytsev had a meeting with Penza winners of the Delphic Games in different categories on Saturday, May 6.

"We are proud of your victories in such large-scale creative contests. You managed to prove once again that our city is rich in talented people, bright and creative youth, who will glorify our land many more times, I am sure," the head of the Penza administration said turning to those present.

He noted that the victory was possible due to skills, motivation and dedication of the young artists.

The mayor also emphasized that parents and teachers play a great role in the upbringing and creation of the conditions for all-round development of gifted children.

Winners of the Delphic Games, their teachers and parents received from Victor Kuvaytsev gifts – books about Penza, the mayor's office press service informs.

Participants from Penza competed for victory in 47 categories. Altogether 2,000 people took part in the Delphic Games.

The student of V.P. Chekh musical school No. 15 Tatyana Valova won the gold medal in the art of reading. The silver medal in the nomination "Ensemble singing" was received by the band "Tuesok". Another silver medal was brought to Penza by the soloist of the band Anastasia Legoshina.
