As local people told PenzaNews, for a long time traffic lane markings were absent there and people had to decide whether to cross the roadway in inappropriate places or to walk a considerable distance to the next crossing.

Now in order to get to the sidewalk after using the zebra crossing local people and guests of the area have to cross the road diagonally ignoring the markings not to run into a kerb or not to walk along the road. Some people walk straight on the grass.

Pedestrians in Raduzhnaya street, where a pedestrian crossing also ends with a kerb and the lawn, face the same problem.

At the same time, it is only marked there. Appropriate road signs have not been installed nearby until now.
