Penza, 10 May 2017. PenzaNews. An initiative on equipping bus stops with electronic announcement boards, which received over 200 supporting votes on the portal "Open Penza", was submitted to the mayor's office for consideration.

The author of the initiative Alexei Lipakhin suggested making use of foreign experience in Penza and equipping bus stops with devices that would show information about expected time of arrival of a particular bus or trolleybus. It would also indicate whether the vehicle is lower-floor or not.

According to him, this would make buses less overcrowded and in the evening – will help passengers to decide whether it is worth waiting for the necessary vehicle.
